MINIROOS (AGES 4 - 11)
MiniRoos is a Football Australia endorsed program that we run at KDSC. It is a fun, game-based introductory football program for kids aged 4–11 who are new to soccer. It’s all about building skills, confidence, teamwork, and a genuine love of the game – in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Each session is designed to keep kids moving, learning, and smiling. Players enjoy plenty of time on the ball, lots of goal-scoring opportunities, and the chance to make new friends while learning the values of teamwork, fair play, and respect.
Participants also receive a MiniRoos pack from Football Australia (including a t-shirt, football and certificate) as part of their registration. Sessions are run by friendly and experienced club members who are passionate about creating a positive first football experience.
What to expect:

Plenty of chances to score goals, celebrate, and enjoy the game
What to bring:

Comfortable clothes – shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt (weather dependent)

Sneakers are perfect – no football boots required (unless you already have them)

A water bottle, hat, and sunscreen for warm weather

A big smile and plenty of energy!
Pathways:
MiniRoos is the perfect starting point for a lifelong love of soccer.
For players keen to keep playing after the program, we offer a non-competitive program for ages 6-9, where kids can continue to grow their skills in a fun team environment.
We also run Go Girls and Go Mums summer programs for girls and women who want to have a go themselves – no experience necessary! It’s a great way for families to get involved together.
